All of you people what are saying that an Ele is a PVP class, not a PVE class, have got it very wrong. Ele are quite lousy in pvp, in fact the only use we really have for them are:

Wards
Heal Party Spam
Flag Runner

Warriors FAR outdamage Eles. Their spells don't just recharge fast enough, take too long to cast, and require too much energy management.

Put it this way - every team loads up on Warrior counters (or they will die) - how many load up on "Ele counters"? How about none - it is very easy to outheal an Ele "damage-dealer"

By the description you would thing the Ele would be the quintessential 'nuker' but I think they are only useful for specialized support roles - not nearly what you would think by reading their class description.

I really wish that ANET would provide a bit of a boost - a weak'armored but deadly spellcaster would be a nice addition to the game.

wellguys , i just runned a fow , i made a marvelous combo of M.shower ,bond rodgords, meteor / double Phoenix .....Do u know something more powerfull ??? .i got atleast 5000 hp's out of 8 foes in less than 15secs (19secs original warrmup ), an ss needs 15 mins in order to reach these kind of numbers ..... so ppl get off the fashion train and look at the truth , not only eles have the coolest skills but the more lethal ones !

The only thing that can scarter away an ele is another ele , and i dare u to any kind of an in game bet

lol if ur problem is my language , i may inform u that i speak 4 more beyond english and mother language , maybe i know urs so to be abler to comunicate , cause with ignorants u got fall to their status in order to comunicate , so plz tell me what language can u speak ??? And lastly , all u have to say about is try to humilate me ??? , dont even try it , cause first ! u cant second U will be the humilated !!!!

Hormus, if you are going to try to insult someone, stick to your native language. I didn't have a problem understanding most of your first post and don't agree with that kind of response from Symbol. But if you are going to try and retaliate in a knee jerk fashion that way, you should avoid it. Also, please for the love of god, don't mix "1337" speak and a second language, you give those of us who work hard to communicate in a second language a bad name with your second post.
And for the record, I speak 2 other languages beyond my native English, so "u got knocked" back ???

Now on about your post. 5000Dmg? Please breakout your casting and amount of dmg. I know I can do a lot of dmg but don't think that I could do 5000.

On this forum we speak English. If you want people to understand you, you need to speak clearly. There are plenty of non-native English speakers who can communicate just fine, speaking other languages is not an excuse for posting gibberish.

an ELE can cause more than 10.000 hit points with a combo , a party of necro's simply can only imagine doing it ,

dare me to what? kill something? I do that every day, and if you didnt notice my only two characters are ele and necro. Oh and plz dont dare me to kill mobs in ascalon or something, i know very well they take like 250 damage per single fire spell, better go outside in southern shiverpeaks and watch the pathetic damage you do to avicara or dwarves... if that doesnt help, then go ahead give me your challenge.
